EMF and Brain Tumours

Dr Paul Villeneuve has found a link between exposure to magnetic fields at work and brain tumours.

The Canadian researcher conducted a study of 543 men with brain tumours and the same number of controls. He found that:

  • Men who were exposed to an average of 6 mG or more had a 33% increased risk of brain tumours;
  • Men working in higher fields had 12 times the chance of developing aggressive brain tumours, including grade III and grade IV astrocytomas (or glioblastoma multiforme).
