Electromagnetic hypersensitivity
World renowned experts present the latest scientific evidence of electromagnetic hypersensitivity in Dallas. In June specialists from around the globe gathered in Dallas for a four-day conference on electromagnetic hypersensitivity that presented the latest medical and scientific research on this little-understood condition. Electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS) is an extreme reaction to some electromagnetic frequencies, -
Australian breast cancer cluster

As he faces sentencing this month, John Patterson talks to EMR and Health about the story behind the news. John Patterson is a pleasant, considerate and well-mannered man with an easy smile and a wicked sense of humour. -
EMF and fertility
Electromagnetic fields could harm male fertility Even everyday levels of exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs) can reduce sperm quality, according to a study just published in the Journal of Reproductive Toxicology. This is the first study to find this association, according to Dr De-Kun Li from Stanford University and the Kaiser Foundation Research Institute in California. -
US Senate Hearing on the health effects of mobile phone use
International experts have provided evidence to a Senate subcommittee on the health effects of mobile phone use. Dr Devra Davis, a Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh said that she had recently confirmed overseas studies showing that “persons using a cell phone for a decade or longer have significantly elevated risks of acoustic neuroma.” -
Israel's cordless phone ban

EMR and sleep
Electromagnetic radiation impacts on sleep and this may be causing health problems. An adequate amount of good quality sleep is essential for achieving optimum physical and mental function. It is necessary, for example, for good health, for growth and development, for performance, memory and mood. Conversely, sleep problems have been shown to reduce quality of life, increase the risk of accidents, depression, obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and death. -
Digital TV symptoms

Known as the Venice Resolution, the document was initiated on 6 June by the International Commission for Electromagnetic Safety, following the 6th ICEMS Workshop, held last December. -
Alzheimer's Disease and Exposure to Electromagnetic Fields
A review of published research suggests that occupational exposure to electromagnetic fields may lead to Alzheimer’s Disease. A Garcia and colleagues from Spain’s University of Valencia reviewed 14 studies on Alzheimer’s Disease and electromagnetic fields. They found that the case-control studies showed that exposed workers had more than double the risk of the disease, whereas cohort studies found 1.6 times the risk, with double the risk for exposed men.

Mobiles and mouth cancers
Reserach has found a lilnk between long-term mobile phone use and mouth cancers. Using a mobile phone can increase the risk of tumours of the parotid gland by up to 50% according to a study recently published in the American Journal of Epidemiology. This startling finding casts further doubts on the safety of mobile phones and lends support to previous studies that have found a connection between mobile phone use and brain tumours.
