Radiation-free Sunday
June 8, 2024
Do you ever get a headache when you hold your mobile phone to your head?
Do your hands burn when you play on your wireless devices?
Do you develop mental fog after spending time on the computer?
Do you have trouble sleeping since a mobile phone tower was built near your home?
Do you feel pain in the part of your body next to the pocket where you carry your mobile phone?
Many people develop symptoms when they’re exposed to wireless radiation from their own or other people’s wireless devices. As well as the above, symptoms can include fatigue, pain, nausea, depression, irritability, anxiety and behaviour problems.
Symptoms can be mild or debilitating. They can start any time after exposure begins and last long after it ends.
This experience is often called Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS) and affects people across the globe.
Maybe it affects you.
There’s a good chance it affects someone you know.
Next Sunday 16th June is World EHS Day – a chance to acknowledge this widespread problem and to reconsider our relationship with our radiating devices.
So here’s a suggestion.
Why not make Sunday 16th a radiation-free Sunday for your family?
Here are some tips.
-
Write your appointments in your diary instead of using the calendar on your phone.
-
Take cash with you to pay for coffee – or lunch or dinner – instead of tapping with your phone.
-
Turn off your mobile phone for the day. If you’re out, leave it at home.
-
Tell people you won’t be available on your mobile in advance and let them know why.
-
Don’t give yourself or your kids opportunities to play on your devices. Find more interesting things to do with your time.
There are eight more days until the 16th. Time to plan and prepare for your own special radiation-free Sunday.
Here are my suggestions.
-
Go for a walk or a ride.
-
Visit a park and climb a tree.
-
Visit the beach. Climb the dunes and write in the sand.
-
Build a tent in the yard and make a picnic lunch to eat in it.
-
Pull out the board games and craft box.
-
Read a story.
-
Visit a friend.
-
Plant some bee-attracting flowers.
-
Cook something fun for dinner together.
Now it’s your turn.
I invite you to come up with some ideas for a fun and radiation-free day on the 16th. I’m sure you’ll have some wonderful and creative plans and invite you to share them on our social media pages. Let’s make it a day to remember.
So how about it? Do we have a date?
